Italian Capers in Vinegar

DISTINCTIVE QUALITIES: Zuccato capers are perfectly pickled in a flavorful brine. We selected these capers specifically for their medium size, and for their tangy, briny flavor to accompany our seafood—smoked salmon, Dover Sole, European Turbot, and Chilean Sea Bass. They are also a wonderful savory garnish atop a salad or an ingredient in a favorite pasta. 

BEHIND THE PRODUCT: Capers are the buds of a prickly bush (capparis spinosa) that typically grows in the Mediterranean and Asia. Their intense green color is typical of fruits grown in rocky areas.
